Description: Prof. Brian Millar and Dr Fariha Hussain from KCL are delivering a blended learning course of 12 hours CPD on conventional and contemporary indirect restorations, consisting of: 3 hour webinar available 1 month beforehand 3 hours reading and reflection 6 hours face to face theory and hands-on training on clinical skills We will be taken through the process from planning through preparation, impressions and temporisation to cementation. Focus is on contemporary techniques including restoring function and getting aesthetics and the occlusion correct. Description: Prof. Millar and Dr Hussain from KCL are providing 12 hours of CPD with this blended learning course, covering how to assess and design improved aesthetics to correct colour, shape and the occlusion. Content includes rubber dam, direct composite bonding in monolayer and layered techniques for anterior and posterior restorations. Use of direct composite to design then make the changes to the smile will be covered. The course will then explain how to apply the Destination Driven Dentistry approach to later upgrade to high-performance layered composite restorations including use of indirect composite. This blended learning course delivers 12 hours CPD consisting of: 3 hour webinar available 1 month beforehand, 3 hours reading and reflection, 6 hours hands-on training. Hands-on table top sessions include anterior veneers and posterior challenges including subgingival margins and difficult contact areas.
