Description: This informal session is for dentists in the Southwest who are working toward their Performer Numbers (PN). Please join Malcolm and Lucy for an opportunity to ask questions and discuss anything relating to working in the NHS, clinical cases and completing the portfolio. Whilst we might not have all the answers, we can point you in the right direction! This will be a small group, online meeting that we are planning to repeat each month. It's a chance for you to interact with colleagues who may well be facing the same issues as you - for example, how do I take an effective pain history? what's clinical audit? why do I run late? how do I access Script? Really, anything that you would like to discuss in a safe and supportive environment.

Description: This evenings webinar will cover the diagnosis and management options of orofacial pain that may be encounter in primary care dentistry. There are times when dental pain and orofacial pain can be challenging to differentiate so Dr James Ashworth-Holland will guide us through some more common orofacial pain cases. Description: Please join us for the first of two linked webinars (the second will be on 28th May), for an opportunity to refresh your periodontal skills from the comfort of your living room. Dr Samy Darwish (Specialist in periodontology and oral surgery) will be discussing the aetiology, assessment, and diagnosis of periodontal disease. Amongst other things, we will consider screening, management and crucially the medicolegal consequences of periodontal management. All members of the dental team are very welcome to attend. Dr Darwish understands the challenges faced by those of us working within the NHS contract and will be addressing how we can utilise the skills of the whole team to better manage patients with chronic periodontal conditions in practice. This course is suitable for colleagues with ‘Agreement Terms’ who are working toward gaining their Performer Number.
