Description: Carla and Tim will be joining us in Bath to explore how we can become better at taking out teeth. We will be discussing potential difficulties, intact teeth and retained roots. The principles of sectioning teeth and flap design will also be considered. This is a small group course with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. We will be using synthetic skin and oral surgery models to illustrate extraction techniques.

Description: Please join us for an interactive and practical update day on IV sedation, cannulation and venepuncture. The course is suitable for all members of the team providing sedation as part of the requirements for the recommended 12 hours of sedation-related verifiable CPD in each 5 year cycle. Theory sessions will cover patient assessment, safety and cannulation tips and tricks and how to manage those difficult situations. Hands on activities will include cannulation practice on training arms then an opportunity to practice on each other in a clinical setting. Chris Bell and Tim Harris have a wealth of experience in dental IV sedation and share their top tips in a relaxed atmosphere. This will be a relatively small group.
