DescriptionThis session covers the dental team training requirements for all forms of conscious sedation and surgery set up for IV sedation. Inhalation sedation set up will not be covered in detail in this session This will be an interactive course aimed at all members of the dental team working with sedation.

This is part 2 of a series of 4 update training sessions delivered via on zoom

Delegates can book on to an individual course or all 4 (each course must be booked separately)

All courses will consist of short presentations and live Q/A sessions

Joining instructions will be made available via email shortly before the session. Please do not share these with other people.

Aims

The aim of this session is to update dental teams in core knowledge of conscious dental sedation training expectations and also surgery set up focussing on oral and intravenous sedation. 

Objectives

By the end of this session participants should:

1. be able to identify dental team training requirements for conscious dental sedation.  

2. be able to demonstrate the practical application of surgery set up for IV conscious sedation

On completion participants will recognise the training and continued professional development expectations required for conscious dental sedation and considered the physical surgery set up for dental sedation
