| Aims | 1- To discuss the relevance of the 'ideal occlusion' in restorative dentistry. 2- To discuss methods of recording the occlusion. 3- To discuss when to conform or re-organise an occlusion. 4- To discuss articulator selection and how to record a face bow transfer. 5- To discuss a number of clinical scenarios where an appreciation od the occlusion helped to ensure a successful outcome. | ||
| Objectives | 1- Participants should have an improved knowledge of occlusal terminology. 2- Be more confident assessing and recording an occlusion. 3- Appreciate when it may be appropriate to conform or reorganise an excisting occlusal scheme, even at an increased vertical dimension. | ||
