Manish holds a Certificate in Business Management Skills in Dentistry and has a particular interest in clinical governance, lecturing on this topic at postgraduate level. Manish is also the Clinical Manager for a Dental Corporate, VTA trainer and the Training Programme Director VTA – Oxford Deanery.

Jill White - Following 10 years as a secondary school languages teacher (working part-time as an events co-ordinator for part of that time), Jill decided to have a change of direction 4 years ago when she joined the NHS. She spent 3 years working for a PCT as Clinical Governance Facilitator supporting dentists, pharmacists and optometrists with their clinical governance arrangements and promoting the quality agenda in primary care generally, whilst also completing a post-graduate diploma in Integrated Governance in Healthcare Communities with the University of Westminster. She is currently working for Community Dental Services CIC, the country’s first social enterprise dedicated to community dentistry, as the Clinical Governance Co-ordinator, supporting the service with all aspects of clinical governance matters as we work towards obtaining the BDA’s Quality in Dental Services accreditation. Jill’s real interest lies in bringing together clinical and non-clinical expertise to enable genuine improvements in the quality of services, which benefit both patients and staff and allow innovation to take place.
