Description: This evening is entirely devoted to Dental Nurses and Student Dental Nurses. These monthly meetings have been set up for Dental Nurses in the south region (Ox/Bucks/Berks/Hamps/I.O.W) to give Dental Nurses an ability to network and share ideas through open discussion, support their wellbeing plus be empowered to progress and further their career if they wish to do so. Description: Interactive, evidence-based modular training for experienced GDPs & dentists with a special interest in Minor Oral Surgery, which includes training in most of the enhanced skills needed for Level 2 accreditation. This is an opportunity to learn and practise the principles and techniques of minor oral surgery procedures, designed for the busy practitioner, with 3.5 training days over 4 months. Modules cover the main aspects of dentoalveolar surgery performed in general practice; 3 of the days include focused hands-on training on pig or sheep jaws. Day 1 is a morning webinar- an interactive theory session with case discussions and seminar. (PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE VENUE) You will need a desktop or tablet enabled for camera and microphone (and not a mobile phone: cameras must be on during all teaching time.
