Description: This course is aimed at senior surgical trainees with a specified interest in colorectal surgery and Urology. Depending on availability the course may also be open to StR 3-8 trainees and Consultants. Participants will undergo a one-day course focussing on the principles and technique of sacral neuromodulation (SNM) for faecal and urinary incontinence. The course will feature small-group teaching from recognised national and international experts. Teaching will concentrate predominantly on the surgical technique using image intensifiers and human cadaveric material but will also feature lectures on other important aspects such as radiological anatomy, principles of sacral neuromodulation and programming. Course sponsorship is available which can cover accommodation for the night preceding the course
