Description: On this laparoscopic 2 day colorectal course we will run through the basic steps and anatomy and risks associated with right hemicolectomy and a high anterior resection using hierarchical task analysis. There will be a mixture of lectures and operating on cadavers, performing a laparoscopic right hemicolectomy and a laparoscopic sigmoid colectomy with splenic mobilisation at the Leeds Cadaveric labs.

Each procedure is preceded by a short technical skills lecture delivered by experienced faculty to outline the key steps to complete the procedure correctly. Delegates then perform each procedure with close supervision by experienced faculty.
