The Oral Health Practitioner will work to the direction of a dentist to perform a range of oral health preventative procedures including: plaque indices and debris scores, apply fluoride varnish, take clinical photographs, take impressions and carry out toothbrushing in a patients mouth. The role will also enable dental nurses to carry out general health screening activities by checking for diabetes and taking blood pressure.
