The course is suitable for dental nurses wishing to take on a lead nurse role, and practice managers wishing to appoint nurses to this important role within their workplaces.

Making the decision to appoint a lead dental nurse is simply the first step. The next step is to define roles and responsibilities, to ensure everyone knows WHAT is expected of them, and HOW they are required to perform tasks.The lead dental nurse needs to be supported with clear job descriptions, defining their role, responsibilities and reporting requirments. They also need to be given acknowledgement for their contribution to the work of the practice and be rewarded for their input.
