Description: This course is a great opportunity for GDPs to get to grips with providing good quality, efficient endodontic treatment. Jon Cowie and Luca Moranzoni will be covering assessment of prognosis, access, canal preparation, irrigation and obturation. There will be hands on practice using OneCurve and hand files in simulated canals, as well as the opportunity to practice simplified obturation and rubber dam placement. This is a small group session, with no more than twelve dentists, giving plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.

Description: Roger Yates has been successfully treating periodontal disease and its sequelae for over 30 years in conjunction with the dental team. This one day programme offers a revision of the aetiology and classification of periodontal disease. We will be exploring the relevance of history, examination and charting. Roger will be discussing disease management, with a view to improving treatment outcomes, utilising the whole dental team. The course will take a evidence based approach, using case presentations with plenty of clinical tips and opportunity for questions. Roger understands the challenges of managing periodontal disease within our current system, and will include accessing secondary care in the South West, and how this could change in the future following work being carried out by the Managed Clinical Newtork (MCN).

Description: This course is a fantastic opportunity to gain confidence in root treating molar teeth. Jon Cowie and Luca Morenzoni will consider which teeth are good candidates for root treatment, modern access cavity preparations, guide path solutions with the OneG file. We will be using simulated teeth to practice access cavity preparation (upper and lower molar), canal preparation and obturation. This will be a small group - no more than 12 dentists - so plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
