Description: This is a new and updated course organized run by two highly respected specialists in the South West, Dr Jane Luker and Dr Rebecca Davies. The speakers will cover core material in a clinically relevant manner and will also be over-viewing the newer concepts such as Cone Beam Computerised Tomography (CBCT). The UK GDC requires practitioners and operators to undertake at least 5 hours of verifiable CPD in Radiography / Radiation Protection over a 5 year cycle. Attendance at this course will satisfy requirements.

Description: It's great to welcome Professor Brian Millar to Somerset. Prof Millar (Kings College, London) will be leading this study day, addressing management of the increasing clinical problem of tooth wear. He will explain that by understanding the aetiology a diagnosis can be made leading to prevention of further damage. In some cases management requires intervention with conventional indirect restorations or the latest adhesive aesthetic materials. We will use models to practice restoring worn anterior and posterior teeth, with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
