Description: This a full days lecture with some practical aspects given by Daljit Jagdef and Monica Lee at Wexham Post-Grad Centre. Daljit qualified in dentistry in 1996 from Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals and subsequently worked as an SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in Birmingham. She went on to complete her MFGDP in 1999 and started her MSc in Periodontolgy at King’s Dental Institute in the same year. Since completing the MSc program in 2001 Daljit has taught as a clinical demonstrator at King’s for 5 years and has limited her practice to Periodontics since 2005. As well as working in private practice accepting referrals, she is now involved in lecturing to dentists and hygienists. Daljit has a wide range of experience treating complex periodontal cases including crown lengthening, ridge augmentation, root coverage procedures, bone regeneration and multidisciplinary treatment planning. She attends courses both nationally and internationally to keep up to date with the treatment and advances in periodontology and network with fellow colleagues in her profession
