Description: This informal session is for dentists in the Southwest who are working toward their Performer Numbers (PN). Please join Malcolm and Lucy for an opportunity to ask questions and discuss anything relating to working in the NHS, clinical cases and paperwork. Whilst we might not have all the answers, we can point you in the right direction! This will be a small group, online meeting that we are planning to repeat each month. It's a chance for you to interact with colleagues who may well be facing the same issues as you - for example check ups - what should we include? (this evenings theme tbc), why do I run late? how do I access Script? Really, anything that you would like to discuss in a safe and supportive environment.

Description: This course is a great opportunity for dentists wishing to extend their Minor Oral Surgery skills gain hands on practice using anatomical models. Pippa and Simon will join a small group (no more than twelve dentists) to cover common complications including removal of apices, closure of an oral antral communication, pain, infection and management of haemorrhage. This is an interactive day, with lots of time for questions and discussion.

Description: This is a refresher course on our diagnostic interpretation skills of intra-oral and extra-oral radiographs taken in practice. It will enable us to distinguish the normal from the abnormal. The course will also cover how to set up a radiographic audit in line with general dental council expectations. The course will be led by Linda Parrott who has a special interest in the subject and will use projected digital images covering normal anatomy, pathology and the more unusual. This course is especially important to refresh diagnostic skills.
