It will also cover dry mouth, burning mouth, oral allergies & altered taste. The course will be given by Caroline Pankhurst and Richard Cook from the Guys/Kings College (London) team. Caroline gave a blistering session last year on infection control and the Oral Medicine course promises to be just as exciting!

Description: Prof. Avijit Banerjee from KCL Dental Institute @ Guy’s Hospital, London, UK is Professor of cariology and operative dentistry, Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Periodontics and Programme Director, MSc Advanced MI Dentistry amongst other positions. Prof. Banerjee is coming to Exeter with trade partners to provide a lecture and workshop based course explaining what MID is and the techniques that can be used in caries managment. This course is open to all members of the dental practice team (including dentists, nurses, oral health educators, hygienists, therapists, practice managers and other DCPs) and teams are actively encouraged to participate in this verifiable CPD course for all members registered with the GDC.
