Description: Additional skills dental nurse training - Impression taking course for DCPs, DCPs attending this course will be required also to attend an OSCE day on Saturday 16th February- only those attending the 1st part of the course will be able to attend the OSCE. The OSCE is included in the course fee. Criteria of students entering the course, Registered dental nurse with the General Dental Council, In current employment, Have the written support of his/her employer, Professional Indemnity cover, Evidence of appropriate up to date CPD (eg BLS, Medical Emergencies), Not all participants will have undertaken a Dental Nurse Training course which has equivalence to NVQ 3. However it is felt that all students will have the ability to engage in the level of work required to successfully complete this course.
