Aims

An evening reviewing the trends in dentistry over the next couple of decades and how they may impact on the practice of dentistry. There will also be an update on the pilots of the possible new dental contract and the organisation of dentistry in the current nhs reforms.  

Objectives

By the end of the meeting delegates will-

1) Be aware of the current state of the dental health of the nation.

2) Be aware of the likely changes in the need for dental care in the next decade.

3) Be aware of likely drivers of nhs commissioners.

4) Understand the new commissioning arrangements in the nhs.

5) Be aware of the need to develop a professional vision for your area.
