This is a lecture with an emphasis on clinical content. Under IR(ME)R 2000, any member of a dental team who takes part in the radiographic process is regarded as an IR(ME)R operator and continuation training is required. The minimum requirement for verifiable CPD in radiology and radiation protection of 5 hours every 5 years, can be achieved by attending this course. Certificates confirming compliance with regulations are issued.
