Lecturer profileHatem Algraffee qualified as a dentist from the Royal London Hospital. He then worked in an oral and maxillo-facial surgery department, followed by several positions for various health authorities and general practice. He completed four years full time specialist training in Periodontology at Guys London Hospital. He was awarded a Masters Degree (MSc) in Periodontology and Masters in Clinical Dentistry (M.Clin.Dent) from Guys Hospital. This was followed by the award of the membership in restorative dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
His previous positions were as a Specialist Clinical Teacher at Guys Hospital, as a Senior Dental Officer for Hammersmith and Fulham Trust, visiting lecturer at postgraduate centres and as a Postgraduate Dental Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has lectured at many postgraduate centre’s, at webinars and study clubs.
Hatem now dedicates his time to Periodontics in private practice and lecturing for PerioAcademy

Short resume of career to date:

Paul HR Wilson grew up in the North-East of Scotland and graduated from the University of Glasgow with Honours in Medical Biochemistry and Dental Surgery in 1997. Part of his undergraduate training was completed at the Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg.

After working in general dental practice and senior house officer posts, in 2000 he underwent postgraduate specialist training at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Dental Institute, King’s College London and the University of Alberta, Canada, completing Consultant training in 2005.

Paul HR Wilson was Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol Dental School and The Royal United Hospital, Bath, from 2006 until 2013. At Bristol Dental Hospital he was Lead Consultant for oral rehabilitation for the South-West Head and Neck Cancer Network, and for dental trauma. He is currently in specialist practice in Bath, Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Birmingham Dental Hospital, and visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen Dental School. He is also Senior Lecturer for the University of Bristol MSc in Implant Dentistry.
