DescriptionThis FREE webinar on Stress Awareness is designed to fulfil the first step of the Mental Health Wellness Framework (see webinar 10/11/21). The dental profession has long been identified as one which faces high levels of stress and burnout. The consequences of this are personal distress, challenging working environments and poorer health and mental health. Complementing the Seminar on Mental Health Wellness in Dentistry featuring the work of Roz McMullan and Fiona Elwood, this webinar will explore the stress of dental practice, as well as identifying how as individual members of the dental team, and as a practice stress can be managed.

The aim of this webinar is to provide an overview of stress management approaches for the dental team.

Objectives

As a result of the webinar participants will:


· Be familiar with the sources of stress in dental practice

· Identify a range of possible methods to address the stress of dental practice, at both the individual and practice levels.
