Lecturer profileStella Cockerill is employed by Public Health England as a Public Health Manager. Her post is funded by Health Education England and as a Sustainability Fellow she has a focus on helping the dental sector to review its processes and practices and make changes that lead to a reduction in carbon emissions and greenhouse gases. The aim of her work is to improve the health of local communities and ensure that the way we deliver dental care does not unnecessarily create wider health issues for the current and future generations.

Lecturer profilePhil Jevon has worked in the NHS for 34 years; the last 23 years in resuscitation/ medical education. He still works clinically and attends cardiac arrest calls on a regular basis. He has published over 20 books, including Medical Emergencies in the Dental practice. He designed and produced the Medical Emergencies in the dental practice and emergency drugs in the dental practice posters that have been endorsed by the BDA.

Nikolai R. Stankiewicz, BDSc, MFDGP (UK), DPDS (Bristol), MSc, graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1996. After working in private and public dental practice in Melbourne, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he gained his subsequent qualifications. From 1999 to 2008 he worked at an NHS dental practice in Bath and then moved to Bramcote Dental Practice, Castle Cary, Somerset, of which he is the owner. He has a particular interest in dental research and has authored several papers in peer-reviewed journals within the field of restorative dentistry and infection control. In 2017 he received an award as The Kaplan Open Learning Top Postgraduate Health Graduate for his MSc on infection control
