Short Resume of Career to date:
Connie graduated from Bristol University and competed Foundation Dental Training in Clevedon. She completed Dental Core Training in Paediatric Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. From there she has worked in the Community Dental Service in Special Care Dentistry. She is now an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow splitting her time between teaching, clinical work in Paediatric Dentistry and research, with an interest in health services research and economic evaluation. She hopes to combine academic training through a Doctoral Research Fellowship and Paediatric Speciality training in the future.

Ana graduated in Greece in 2012 and has been practicing in the UK since 2013. She is currently splitting her time between teaching for the University of Bristol and providing care for paediatric patients for the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. She has completed posts across different specialties during her DCT years including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Medicine and has also practiced in primary and community dental services providing care under LA, IHS and GA.

Experience relevant to the topic:
Over a year of working for a tertiary centre for Paediatric Dentistry and teaching for the University of Bristol. Ana also has experience in working for primary care and can understand the challenges faced by GDPs and hoping to be able to use this to achieve optimum delivery of information.

Manal is currently a Post-CCST registrar in Paediatric Dental with the South West Deanery at Bristol Dental Hospital. She graduated from Cardiff University in 2014 and completed her dental foundation training (DFT) in Port Talbot.

Prior to commencing her specialist training in Bristol, in September 2018, she has completed various Dental Core Trainee (DCT) posts in the primary, secondary and tertiary care settings. These include the community dental service in Swansea, Morriston Hospital, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Experience relevant to the topic:
- Oral health promotion
- Provision of comprehensive dental care for paediatric dental patients who are anxious and have complex medical, behavioural and dental needs under local anaesthesia, inhalation sedation and consultant led general anaesthetic lists at Bristol Dental Hospital and Bristol Children’s Hospital
