This is a fantastic opportunity to ask specialist colleagues and experienced GDP’s - What they would do? This interactive session will focus on treatment planning for 0–5-year-old children with information on how to claim for these types of cases. The panel will discuss various approaches to management as well as addressing questions from the audience.

This event is an opportunity for the oral healthcare team to engage with the Managed Clinical Network for Paediatric Dentistry, and discuss treatment panning in an informal, relaxed environment.

Objectives

By the end of this session participants should be able to:

  1. Identify diagnoses and formulate treatment plans for young children 
  2. Explain the Child Friendly Dental Practice Pilot (CFDP)
  3. Describe the process for referring to the CFDP scheme.
