DescriptionNHS England invite members of the dental team from across the South West to join them for an evening of free CPD highlighting the work of the Paediatric MCN. The webinar will include information on the recovery of GA services and what you can do while your patient is on a waiting list, a practical guide to supporting asylum seekers and information on Child Friendly Dental Practices.

Aims

The aim of this evening is to update the South West dental workforce on the current activity supported by the Paediatric MCN

Objectives

By the end of this webinar participants will be able to;

  1. Recognise the role of the Paediatric Dental MCN across the South-West ​
  2. Explain what a 'Child Friendly Dental Practice'​ is.
  3. Describe how upskilling the workforce can be beneficial to your practice ​
  4. Be able to implement the Welfare Checks and Surgical Prioritisation tools as part of the recovery of General Anaesthetic services​
  5. Identify the dental resources available to support asylum seeking families

Participants will improve support for paediatric patients, working with colleagues in various roles in the South West.
