Description: Mental health needs to be talked about. The effects of the covid pandemic in addition to the everyday stresses we encounter have been challenging for us all. A dental initiative has been launched to encourage dental workplaces to make Mental Health Wellness a priority. This webinar explains the development of the Mental Health Wellness Framework for use in all areas of dental work, for all dental team members to provide support. It will outline how we can be proactive in helping each other with stress and mental health awareness, safe signposting and suicide awareness, with a view to encouraging a commitment to having a Mental Health Wellness Lead in each working environment. We will hear from a team at a dental practice who have implemented the Framework. The aim is for a safe, happy and productive environment to work in which will ultimately enhance patient and staff safety by supporting all team members.
