| Lecturer profile | Shilpa Chitnis is a UK-based dental professional with over 25 years of experience in general dental practice and is currently the Practice Principal at Dental Concepts. Her clinical work is rooted in providing consistent, patient-centred care, with an emphasis on creating a supportive and respectful environment for both patients and staff.
She is an Local Dental Committee member for Hampshire and Isle of Wight, a PASS mentor, and a Development Advisor for the General Dental Council (GDC). She is currently pursuing Masters in Research (Part-time) at the
University of Portsmouth.
Through these roles, Shilpa supports dentists facing professional challenges, offering practical guidance, perspective, and reassurance during difficult stages of their careers.
