Lecturer profileRoz Tritton has been a General Dental Practitioner in Oxford for many years. She is a Postgraduate Tutor with Health Education England (Thames Valley and Wessex), has a particular interest in mentoring and coaching and currently works within their Registrant Support and Developmental Appraisal Programmes.

After years in practice of wanting to improve the experience of patients and the dental teams caring for them and to understand why treatments and events went well or badly I was encouraged by a wise colleague to use written reflection.

This has been helpful throughout my own clinical practice and the skills learned I have used in my roles as a developmental appraiser/coach mentor to help colleagues learn from experiences (both good and bad) to enable change and personal growth for better practice.
