Lecturer profile | Gemma Davis is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow working at Bristol Dental Hospital. Having qualified in Dentistry with honours from the University of Birmingham in 2011, she undertook her DF1 on the Winchester Scheme. She went on to complete Oral and Maxillofacial SHO jobs at Southampton General Hospital and Bristol Royal Infirmary during which she obtained her MJDF in 2013. She was appointed as an ACF in 2014 with her research focus on the histopathological predictors of outcome in oral and oropharyngeal cancer. Her clinical time is spent in Oral Medicine where she is involved in teaching and supervising undergraduate and junior postgraduate dental students. She is currently undertaking a PG Cert in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals at the University of Bristol and is hoping to undertake specialty training in Oral Medicine |
