| Lecturer profile | Latha Davda Stat Exam UK, FDS RCS, MSurg Dent, MSc, FHEA, Adjunct Visiting Professor MCODS, India, GDC 81473 has previously worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Departments across England and Scotland, and is currently a Visiting Professor Manipal University, Mangalore, India. Having joined the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2006, Latha is now Clinical Director with responsibility for the management of the Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine Units on the Dental Hygiene and Therapy programme, among her many roles. She is also an Honorary Lecturer for King’s College London Dental Institute, an examiner for the LDS RCS (Eng) examinations, and an external speaker and trainer for Health Education England, working across Thames Valley and Wessex, Dental School. In addition to her undergraduate and postgraduate teaching roles, Latha and her husband own a dental practice in Eastleigh, Hampshire where Latha practices all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in surgical dentistry, sedation and implants. He is a Clinical Teacher in Oral Surgery at King’s College London Dental Institute and owns a dental practice with his wife, Latha. Sanjay’s special interests are aesthetic dentistry, implants, oral surgery and conscious sedation, accepting referrals from other dental practitioners for treatment under conscious sedation. Sanjay holds Certificates in Conscious Sedation (BUOLD) and Implant Dentistry. He is fluent in 2 Indian languages and Swahili, and every year conducts Free Dental Camps in villages across Southern India. |
