| Lecturer profile | Associate Professor Nicky Kilpatrick BDS PhD FDS RCSP FRACDS (Paeds), GDC 60604, is a Specialist Paediatric Dentist with over twenty years of paediatric dental experience in clinical practice, teaching and research. Following completion of her specialist training in the UK, she moved to Australia where, following 3 years at the University of Sydney she took up the post of Director of Dentistry at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, a position she held for 10 years. Nicky returned to the UK in 2010 to contribute to the establishment of a national cleft lip and palate research platform but the lure of warmer climes saw her relocate back to Melbourne. In addition to working in specialist private paediatric practice, she is currently Senior Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and Director of the Melbourne Cleft Service. Nicky has over 80 publications and lectures regularly around the world. |
