Aims

To raise delegates awareness around the importance of managing a positive, confident and productive mindset as a DCP. The importance of building self-confidence. Giving the audience a better understanding and tips & tricks to help manage their mindset. Raising awareness in DCP around the importance of managing a confident mindset in practice, the importance of recognizing self doubt and a negative mindset, before it becomes a potential issue to them or others. Also addressing why it’s important to get out of your comfort zone! Raising awareness about ‘growth mindset’ and the importance of preventing workplace anxiety.

Objectives

To discuss ways in which individuals can increase their self confidence, help build and manage a positive mindset in the clinical setting, and everyday life!

To apply positive ways and actions to encourage and maintain a confident mindset. Provide ideas to help the delegates in the workplace. Explain the importance of the growth zone & learning. Tools and techniques to help delegates maintain and promote greater confidence, and develop and be aware of their own mindset.

The importance of recognising anxiety and self doubt in order to change this!
