Learning outcomes

Learning outcomes

This CPD event provides dentists with an opportunity to learn about the public health implications of anti-microbial resistance and how they can contribute to reducing AMR as part of providing dental care. The event will also provide dentists with information about a unique opportunity to participate in a clinical audit for which they will be paid and will receive CPD.

Following this course a learner should be able to:

1. Demonstrate recognition of contemporary approaches to antimicrobial management and bacterial resistance reduction.

2. Understand how the antimicrobial prescribing audit tool can be used to assess compliance with guidelines in order to benchmark current level of compliance and identify areas for improvement.
