Description: The aim of the conference is to help dental professionals recognise the relevance of Human Factors in their day-to-day practice. The event is suitable for all members of the team whether attending together as a practice team or as individuals. To facilitate this DCPs can attend for free. Understanding human performance and improving self-awareness are important in preventing avoidable errors and minimising mistakes. The day will help the participants to understand the features of errors and the wider elements that can help prevent these. The course will include interactive workshops, to explore how to work as individuals and members of a team to improve patient and staff safety.

Description: This course will provide an update in IRR17 and IR(ME)R18. IR(ME)R operators should be aware that IRR99, and IR(ME)R 2000 and its 2006 and 2011 amendments have been updated, and this course will help learners understand the new regulations and changes: IRR17 replaced IRR99 from 01 January 2018 IR(MER)18 replaced both the original IR(ME)R 2000 and the amendments from 2006 and 2011 from 06 February 2018. This course is suitable for Dentists and DCP's that take Radiographs as well as those who do not but assist in taking and process Radiographs.
