Lecturer nameChristine Randall BPharm MRPharmS
Lecturer profileI am a pharmacist leading the work of the SPS Dental Medicines Advice Service and have specialised in providing advice on medicines to dentists and the wider dental team across the UK for over 25 years. Over this time I have developed a sense of the medicines related issues are that important to the dental team especially around prescribing and the law, drug interactions and oral adverse effects. I have worked with SDCEP and FGDP on guidelines and published in the BDJ and Dental Update. I love to share my knowledge and experience and support the training of foundation dentists in North West England and North Wales and postgraduate programmes across the UK. I also lead the work of Yellow Card Centre North West which acts locally on behalf of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to support and promote adverse drug reaction reporting through the Yellow Card Scheme.
