Description | Alex is a GDP in Bristol and has been providing Oral Surgery in Hospital and Practice for over 20 years. In addition to his own patients, he treats both NHS and Private patients on referral. Since the inception of the North Bristol MOS Contract which he was awarded in 2010, he has treated over three and a half thousand patients for routine oral surgery procedures with and without IV sedation who otherwise would have been referred to hospital. This session is designed to share his perspective on oral surgery in practice. In doing so he aims to encourage GDPs to carry out routine procedures by using a systematic approach to treatment.
Additional information | Alex will be aiming his course toward dentists working in practice, however all team members with an interest in Minor Oral Surgery are very welcome to attend. This course is suitable for PVLE candidates. We plan to start the talk at 6.30, a light buffet will be available from 6pm.
