Subject | Minor oral surgery |
Description | This course is a great opportunity for dentists wishing to extend their Minor Oral Surgery skills gain hands on practice using anatomical models. Pippa and Simon will join a small group (no more than twelve dentists) to cover common complications including removal of apices, closure of an oral antral communication, pain, infection and management of haemorrhage. This is an interactive day, with lots of time for questions and discussion. |
Additional information | This course is suitable for dentists who are already comfortable and experienced with basic minor oral surgery and wish to extend their skills. This session assumes a level of prior knowledge and experience. If you have not attended Pippa and Simon's excellent 'Foundations of Minor Oral Surgery Course' (next available on 30th April 2025, also in Exeter) please check you are comfortable with the learning outcomes. It is unfair to other members of the group to spend time refreshing basic principles. If you are in doubt if this is a suitable session for you, please contact Lucy.silk3@nhs.net
