Paediatric trauma, and alternative forms of pain relief (FT5122)

AvailabilityCourse has taken place
SubjectPaediatric dentistry
DescriptionWe will be looking at the management of dental trauma – especially as it affects our younger patients. How we manage trauma in the first few days will affect our patient’s recovery and long-term dental health. The financial and ethical implications could be far-reaching, so this will no doubt prove to be an extremely valuable session. We will also be having a revision session on the Hall technique and the use of SS crowns in practice. This session will also include some practical acupuncture on one another. You are not obliged to take part if you have a needle phobia. Acupuncture is another technique whereby diseases can be either cured or alleviated - or put in other words – an extra tool in a dentist’s toolbox. It has been used in China for the last 3-4000 years and the technique has been able to demonstrate results that even today are surprising.
