| Description | The evening will include: a free CPD session on 'Smoking Cessation and an overview of the collaborative work undertaken by Healthbus, The Lantern Trust and Dentaid to improve access to those vulnerably housed. Update on Dorset's Oral Health Programme, including the work on improving access to NHS dental care, the support for broader opportunities to prevent dental disease and the development of an Oral Health Institute for Dorset. There will be opportunities for you to ask questions and the evening will end with a chance to network and enjoy some refreshments. |

| Aims | 1. To provide an overview of LiveWell Dorset’s work in supporting healthier communities, to equip the dental workforce with practical knowledge to support patients who smoke through brief conversations and effective signposting/referral 2. To provide an overview of the dental access initiatives supporting homeless and vulnerably housed communities in Dorset, Increase awareness of local services, support pathways within Dorset. To explore approaches that may be transferable to supporting other groups experiencing health inequalities. |
