| Aims | To introduce the integral role of evidence-based dentistry in day-to-day clinical practice and to revise key concepts of critical appraisal teaching and apply these to research studies |
| Objectives | - To acknowledge the importance of research within dentistry - To be able to effectively use critical appraisal tools on a variety of research study designs - To reflect on career goals and the need for evidence-based practice as part of career development To reflect on the research requirements for speciality training applications |
