Aims

To become aware of the multiple population groups that could benefit from input from dental professionals

To raise awareness of dental public health inequalities

Learning outcomes

1. Relate current thinking in Dental Public Health priorities and reducing oral health inequalities to a community based project.

2. Work collaboratively as a team to design & implement a community engagement project.

3. Assess barriers to providing a community engagement project in the light of Covid-19 restrictions and work imaginatively to overcome some of these barriers.

4. Evaluate the impact & legacy of your community engagement project on your target population.
