Aims

The aim of this course is to update dental workforce in the use of composite to restore anterior teeth, including repairing worn and damaged teeth, closing spaces and improving aesthetics.

Objectives

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:


1 Recognise how to assess damaged anterior teeth and select treatment options

2 Describe use of adhesives and composites to replace missing tooth tissue aesthetically and functionally, using bulk-fill, monolayer and multilayer techniques.

3 Demonstrate how to replace missing tooth with a range of adhesive direct techniques

4 Assess when to use composite rather than ceramic.

5 Describe how to correctly check the occlusion

6 Explain the use  of a range of finishing techniques

By the end of the course delegates will:

 

know how to use composite and adhesives to repair damaged anterior teeth, including worn teeth and dealing with spaces, selecting the most appropriate materials.
