DescriptionPlease join us for a day on using indirect materials in anterior and posterior teeth. Content will cover assessing damaged teeth, selecting an appropriate indirect materials and techniques to provide aesthetic functional restorations on anterior and posterior teeth. Preparation designs for veneers, overlays, inlays, vonlays, partial and full crowns will be covered. This course is lecture based with some hands on tasks (table top). It will build on existing knowledge and will be an opportunity to hear about further learning available with Prof. Millar at KCL. Course notes will be made available in advance of the day.
Additional information

Professor Brian Millar is coming to Salisbury for 2 days. 10/7/25 is covering composite restorations. These courses are available to book separately. Prof. Millar's courses tend to book very quickly so please put your name on the waiting list if there are no places.

Registration will be at 9.15 and the course will start at 9.30 am.

Aims

The aim of this day is to explain how to provide aesthetic and functional restorations for anterior and posterior teeth with indirect materials.

Objectives

By the end of this course participants should be able to:

1. assess damaged teeth and select appropriate indirect materials and techniques

2. describe preparations for teeth for a range of indirect restorations

3. explain impression techniques for subgingival margins

4. identify appropriate cementation techniques for different materials
