Bath DCT Ward Course
I organised a study day for DCTs in the Southwest prior to commencing OMFS DCT. I co-ordinated and facilitated the other speakers, arranged sponsorship and the PM practical session. Written feedback gained. September 2019.
DCT Study Day - Skin Cancer Surgery, Deformity & Orthognathic Surgery

I was an invited speaker to teach on suturing. I lectured and led and organised a practical session. Written feedback gained. November 2018.

Dental Elective
Phonm Penh, Cambodia.
Along with two fellow 4th years, I volunteered in one of the poorest areas of Cambodia, further developing an empathetic, respectful and patient-centred approach to clinical practice. I gained invaluable experience of differences in healthcare systems, health inequalities and working with limited resources. Broad experience gained in oral surgery and paediatric dentistry 2015

Short Resume of Career to date:
Connie graduated from Bristol University and competed Foundation Dental Training in Clevedon. She completed Dental Core Training in Paediatric Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. From there she has worked in the Community Dental Service in Special Care Dentistry. She is now an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow splitting her time between teaching, clinical work in Paediatric Dentistry and research, with an interest in health services research and economic evaluation. She hopes to combine academic training through a Doctoral Research Fellowship and Paediatric Speciality training in the future.
