I have worked in the field of oral Surgery for 20 years both in secondary and primary care.
I am involved in the clinical and educational supervision of trainees in the department and have been involved in delivering both undergraduate and post graduate training in oral surgery for the last 15 years

Qualified in Manchester1990 followed by numerous hospital training posts throughout NW and SW. Since 2003 I have been working for the Community service in Plymouth but still have close clinical links with Derriford Hospital and Peninsula Dental School.

Experience relevant to the topic:

Part of a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated care at the interface of the primary and secondary services. My area of expertise is the provision of oral surgery under sedation.

I have an interest in Clinical Education and I am involved in various aspects of training for all members of the dental team. I work alongside other colleagues to deliver numerous postgraduate study days for the Department of Dental Postgraduate Education and Bristol University Open Learning for Dentists (BUOLD)
