She completed her specialist training in 2008 and consultant training in 2010. She has been programme lead of the Bristol orthodontic therapy programme and is currently chair of the SW orthodontic regional MCN.

Short Resume of Career to Date: Currently an Academic Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol and Post-CST trainee at Royal United Hospital, Bath completing a PhD in Medical Education, focusing on the assessment of self-reflection within clinical undergraduates within the Faculties of Medicine, Oral Health and Science and Veterinary Medicine. I completed my Membership in Orthodontics examination with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in June 2014 and defended my dissertation “Factors affecting the outcome of orthodontic treatment within the adolescent patient” for the DDS examination in September 2014.I was a partner in a general dental practice for 20 years and a Foundation Trainer for 9 years.
