Deborah has worked full- time since she qualified in several surgeries in and around Gloucestershire.
She has continued to improve her knowledge and completed the temporary dressings, local anaesthetic and witness training for Dental Nurses.
She has also completed courses in Aromatherapy, Massage and Reflexology
She has also worked for Smithkline Beecham formerly just Beechams) as a Dental Representative for nearly 3 years covering the whole of the South-West and South Wales.

She has been programme lead of the Bristol orthodontic therapy programme and is currently chair of the SW orthodontic regional MCN.

Currently an Academic Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol and Post-CST trainee at Royal United Hospital, Bath completing a PhD in Medical Education, focusing on the assessment of self-reflection within clinical undergraduates within the Faculties of Medicine, Oral Health and Science and Veterinary Medicine. I completed my Membership in Orthodontics examination with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in June 2014 and defended my dissertation “Factors affecting the outcome of orthodontic treatment within the adolescent patient” for the DDS examination in September 2014.I was a partner in a general dental practice for 20 years and a Foundation Trainer for 9 years.
