Course Unit and element lead for Oral disease for the Undergraduate BDS. Designed and implemented the teaching and training of undergraduate dental students, hygienists and therapists in dental radiology. Experienced in the delivery of IRMER update courses for several years. Established a radiography course for dental nurses in Bristol. Previous Training programme Director, Educational and Clinical Supervisor for Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology trainees. Chair of examiners for the Diploma in dental & maxillofacial radiology Immediate past president of the British Society of dental & Maxillofacial Radiology. One of three members who have re written the BSDMFR curriculum for undergraduate dental students, therapists , hygienists and dental nurses who are trained in radiography.

Lecturer profile | Freya graduated from Dundee dental School in 2008 and completed her MFDS shortly after. Freya has recently finished her specialist training in Bristol and has taken up a consultant post in Sheffield while still being mainly based in Wiltshire. After a secondment in NHS leadership she is midway though a masters in NHS leadership, management and innovation and am a return to work champion. She also worked with Health Education England developing and writing the Advancing dental care academic strategy for dentists and dental care professionals.
