I have been leading courses and training sessions on behavioural management, communication and hypnosis for 5 years.
In 2014/15 I have run many sessions and spoken at many conferences including: introductory training courses for trainee and qualified dental nurses, a full day S63 course in this area with another clinician, annual training update for Somerset Salaried Dental Services, Bristol BDA evening meeting, and as invited speaker at the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in September for the annual British Association of Oral Surgeons annual conference on the subject “don’t panic – it’s just an anxious patient”. All feedback has been positive and most importantly delegates feel that it has provided them with practical ideas to put into practice immediately as well as enhancing knowledge and signposted to further training
