Following this session participants will have an understanding and be able to discuss current practice and evidence based research for:-

  • The role of dental practitioners and staff in Child Protection
  • Poor oral health and dental neglect in children and its impact on their physical and mental wellbeing
  • The threshold of abuse or neglect in children's dental care
  • Working together to address the needs of vulnerable children
