Aims

 To provide a course that integrates endodontics treatment in general practice with the restoration of anterior and posterior teeth. The techniques require no significant outlay on new equipment and use materials commonly used in general practice. The emphasis is on improved success rates in endodontics and avoiding restorative pitfalls.

Objectives

 1.     To consider the principles of treatment planning, endodontic management and the restoration of the non-vital tooth.

2.      To identify and manage frequently encountered clinical problems of pre-endodontic management.

3.     To be able to select appropriate techniques (including posts and core materials).

4.    To help attain predictable outcomes to  broken down teeth
